Schedule:
Per diem; hours vary between 7 am and 11 pm
Pay Range:
$21.94 – $26.00 per hour, based on experience
Starting Pay:
Based on experience

Responsibilities
Responsible for distribution of reusable supplies and equipment.
Ensures decontamination of supplies and equipment through cleaning and terminal sterilization according to established guidelines.
Assists supervisor in daily departmental activities, including orientation of new associates.
Required Competencies
Demonstrates strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
Ensures effective workflow within the department.
Shows ability to work independently, exhibiting flexibility in decision‑making and task prioritization.
Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with the Central Sterile Supply Department and all Thompson Health associates.
Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information, including patient, staff, and system data.
Maintains status as a Certified Central Service Technician.
Demonstrates CARES values and standards of cooperation at all times.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current certification through IAHCSMM or equivalent, valid within 18 months of employment.
Preferably 1–3 years as a Central Sterile Supply technician; no experience required.
Seniority Level Entry level.
