Scrum Master
Location: Bay Area, CA and Atlanta GA
Type: 3 months+
Pay Rate: $60/hr on w2
Notes: LOCALs only. This will be hybrid work arrangement and candidate must be able to go to one of the Delta offices couple of times a week. Please prioritize candidates that do not require sponsorship.
Job Description: The Scrum Master will be responsible for acting as a servant leader to agile team(s), and a facilitator for the development team and Product Owner. They will lead the team and organization to diligently apply Agile/Scrum practices, values, roles and theory. They will drive risks & issues, and dependencies to resolution and own communications for the team. They will be responsible for monitoring the scrum processes and scrum meetings while increasing team efficiency and advocating for changes that will ensure quality and timeliness.
Skills/Experience:
2+ w/Bachelors degree
Additional Experience:
4+ years of overall delivery leadership experience in Technology with minimum of 2 years of Agile delivery experience. Bachelor's degree in information technology field or equivalent knowledge, skills, abilities.
Strong knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution.
Effective communication skills, ability to adapt style to suit different audiences.
Understand various agile methodologies and frameworks; SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, XP.
Be able to teach simple agile concepts to teams.
Ability to analyze data and draw insights on team performance.
Knowledge of basic technical terminology and processes/systems.
Practice Lean Agile Leadership.
Servant leadership, stakeholder management and negotiation skill.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Good understanding of Software design and delivery.
Knowledge of Visio, Jira, Confluence, and Jira Align, Miro.
In addition to strong Scrum Mastery skills, candidate must have technical knowledge in one of the following areas: Application development, Cloud computing, DevOps and/or Infrastructure technologies.
