This is a full‑time, on‑site, Licensed in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Architect role with the KY Department of Parks based in Frankfort, KY.
Responsibilities
Reviewing designs, plans, and overseeing architectural projects, ensuring they meet the required standards.
Collaborating with both internal and external design teams to ensure Parks project design goals are met.
Manage workflows and ensuring project completion on time and within budget.
Effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver high quality architectural solutions.
Skills and Expectations
Proficiency in Architecture and Architectural Design, including knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction methodologies.
Experience in relevant software, appropriate to the profession, and integration as it applies to modern architectural practices.
Strong Project Management skills, with the ability to lead and manage teams to meet project objectives effectively.
Exceptional attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
Current architectural license and relevant professional experience.
A strong commitment to sustainability and innovative design solutions.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Work is performed in the office and in the field. Will be exposed to risks inherent to construction sites which may require the following of safety procedures.
