Overview HR Hiring Coordinator 50K-70K

Position Summary: An HR Hiring Coordinator will be managing the recruitment process, maintaining employee records, and coordinating onboarding. They will act as a support for the HR team by handling administrative duties, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and act as a point of contact for employees.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and hiring: Post job ads, schedule interviews, conduct background checks and process new hire paperwork.

Employee records: Maintain and update employee records in HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Onboarding and training: Coordinate new employee orientation and training sessions.

Be able to commute from home office in Reseda, Ca to corporate office in Los Angeles, Ca twice a week.

Compliance and support: Ensure compliance with labor laws, handle employee questions and assist with HR initiatives.

Required Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with employees and applicants.

Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

Proficiency with the HRIS system PAYCOM.

Meticulousness in maintaining accurate records and handling sensitive information.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferably but not mandatory.

Additional Responsibilities

Must travel to store locations on a weekly basis.

Track & process I-9 verification for expired EAD cards.

Sexual Harassment tracking.

Submit WOTC forms.

Review data entries in PAYCOM.

Answer “ASK HERE” questions in PAYCOM.

Maintain and file employee personnel files.

Responsible for EDD & disability claims.

Responsible for employment verifications.

Maintaining LOA files.

Education & Experience

High school diploma is mandatory.

1-3 years of experience in recruitment or a related HR function is preferred.

Professional HR certification(s) preferred.

PAYCOM experience.
