EDI Support Analyst Salary Range: 60,000.00 - 65,000.00 USD
THE ROLE We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented EDI Support Analyst to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational IT knowledge and SQL skills who is eager to grow in the field of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for supporting business-critical systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze and troubleshoot EDI errors and failures across various transaction types.
Provide technical support to internal users and external trading partners.
Monitor EDI transaction flows and proactively identify issues.
Assist in onboarding new trading partners and maintaining existing integrations.
Document issues, resolutions, and procedures for future reference.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements.
Learn and apply EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and XML.
LOCATION
Full Time, Hybrid position in Warren, New Jersey.
Candidate MUST be able to reliably commute daily.
Availability for travel may be required after gaining sufficient knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent certification/experience.
Basic understanding of EDI formats (e.g., X12, EDIFACT, XML, flat files).
Familiarity with writing and executing SQL queries (MS SQL Server preferred).
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Good understanding of network protocols such as FTP, SFTP, AS2, and VAN.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced technical environment.
Preferred but Not Required
Prior experience in EDI support or data integration.
Exposure to ocean shipping industry processes or systems.
