Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer – TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph to support a secure data center environment in Reston, VA. The role requires standard business hours in the SCIF Monday–Friday. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in Linux and Windows systems engineering and network administration supporting large enterprise environments. Responsibilities
Oversee, troubleshoot, and manage network activity for large enterprise customer data networks Collaborate with engineering teams to support customer project requests Provide high‑level technical expertise for LAN and WAN environments Recommend improvements to network and systems performance, efficiency, and security Requirements
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph 3+ years of systems and network administration/engineering experience Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Knowledge of key networking technologies and protocols including EIGRP, BGP, SD‑WAN, and MPLS Experience with WAN, LAN, firewalls, and Cisco router/switch configuration Proficiency in both Linux and Windows environments Previous experience with VMware, including building and deploying virtual machines Compensation
$125,000 – $180,000 annually Full comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and sick leave as required by law Open for applications starting January 6, 2026; applications will be accepted for at least 30 days from the posting date
