Project Manager Job Description This position requires a technical background equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Qualified candidates must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to plan, direct, control, and coordinate multiple global activities simultaneously. A thorough knowledge of project planning and management procedures, lean practices, risk management, and effective engineering techniques is required. A strong foundation in engineering, project planning, machine construction, communications, and basic qualitative/quantitative evaluation is preferred. Candidates should enjoy and be able to easily create relationships with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, control, and coordinate multiple global activities simultaneously.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.

Apply thorough knowledge of project planning and management procedures.

Utilize lean practices and risk management strategies effectively.

Employ effective engineering techniques in project execution.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

Understanding of complex mechanical systems and PLC-driven machine automation

Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft suite

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Estimated travel is 5-20% or as required

Work Environment The work environment involves planning and managing multiple global activities in a dynamic setting, requiring effective communication and relationship-building with both internal and external customers.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Canton, OH.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.08 – $50.48/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
