Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Manager with a technical background equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to plan, direct, control, and coordinate multiple global activities simultaneously. A thorough knowledge of project planning and management procedures, lean practices, risk management, and effective engineering techniques is required. Additionally, a strong foundation in engineering, project planning, machine construction, communications, and basic qualitative/quantitative evaluation is preferred. The successful candidate will enjoy creating relationships with internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
Plan, direct, control, and coordinate multiple global activities simultaneously.
Utilize thorough knowledge of project planning and management procedures.
Implement lean practices and risk management strategies effectively.
Apply effective engineering techniques in project planning.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Understanding of complex mechanical systems and PLC‑driven machine automation.
Strong foundation in project planning and analysis, risk evaluation and mitigation.
Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in project management, engineering, and project coordination.
Knowledge in lean manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, and machine design.
Familiarity with automated machinery and Six Sigma methodologies.
Estimated travel requirement 5‑20% or as needed.
Work Environment This position involves working in a dynamic environment with responsibilities for coordinating global activities. The role requires proficiency in using Microsoft Project and the Microsoft suite. There is an expectation for some travel, estimated at 5‑20% or as required. The work environment encourages building strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of North Canton, OH.
Pay and Benefits Pay range: $48.08 – $50.48 per hour.
