Mechanical Equipment Assembler
We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to help bring complex machinery to life as a Mechanical Equipment Assembler at Lanco Group of Companies.
What You Will Do
Assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components for finished products such as cranes, boom dollies, boom launchers, and container loaders.
Use hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
Safely operate overhead cranes and other heavy equipment as directed.
Perform on‑line testing and inspection activities.
Comply with Quality System requirements in accordance with ISO 9001.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations for a zero incidents and injuries goal. Perform other duties as assigned.
What Makes You a Great Fit
High School diploma or equivalent required.
At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a mechanical‑related field.
Background in diesel or automotive systems preferred.
Familiarity with electrical systems is a strong plus.
Solid understanding of mechanical and hydraulic assemblies, including basic testing procedures.
Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Physical and Environmental Elements This is a production classification and employees work in a factory environment with exposure to noise, heat, cold, chemicals, heavy equipment and machinery. Accurate hand/eye coordination is required. Finger dexterity and hand strength are required to grasp, lift, push, and pull. Work involves considerable standing, stooping, bending, or sitting for long periods of time. Employees may lift parts up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 20 lbs.
