Dental Lab Technician I (Scan/Design)

Job Summary We are seeking a full‑time Dental Lab Technician (Scan/Design) to support our 50 labs nationwide. This role focuses on scan, design, and coordination of dental restoration cases.
Regular Hours 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday (subject to change).

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Download scans from Sirona.
Print prescriptions from Sirona.
Code cases for data entry.
Design reduction coping.
Split the case for crown and reduction coping fabrication.
Send and receive design‑only cases to DADL.
Split the case sent to DADL for multiple manufacturing.
Send outsourced metal to Argen.
Send Comfort HS and partial frames to DADL.
Run QC fixed reports and locate delayed cases for reporting to managers.
Run QC implant task‑due report, check that all cases are on schedule with the manufacturer; communicate delays to the team.
Enter daily lot numbers for custom abutments (FDA requirement).
Assist in the outlet room with unpacking incoming load and final QC.
Perform all essential functions of the data adjustment clerk.
Perform all essential functions of the case expediter.
Act as trainer and backup for both data adjustment clerk and case expediter.
All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required
Computer skills.
Read, write, speak and understand English.
Strong attention to detail.
Multi‑tasking ability.
Minimum Education and Experience Required
Preferred: high school diploma or GED equivalent.
No experience required.
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used
Personal protective equipment as required.
Office equipment.
Insert hazardous materials and/or equipment.
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach.
Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions.
Good hand‑eye coordination.
Good manual dexterity.
Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
Repeated bending and kneeling.
Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail and/or color.
Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
