Quality Engineer As a Quality Engineer at John Zink in Tulsa, OK, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality and driving continuous improvement across our manufacturing processes. You will develop and implement quality assurance protocols, identify and close process gaps, and collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to enhance process efficiency and eliminate defects. In this role, you’ll help ensure compliance with internal and external standards while supporting initiatives that improve overall product performance and customer satisfaction.

Our Team John Zink, a Koch Engineered Solutions business, is a global leader in combustion and emissions control, delivering innovative burners, flares, thermal oxidizers, and vapor control systems to industries worldwide. At our Tulsa, OK facility, the Quality team is at the forefront of ensuring every product meets the highest standards of reliability and compliance. From supplier surveillance to hands‑on inspection and quality control, the team safeguards excellence at every stage of manufacturing. Supporting the delivery of flare and pilot packages, they play a vital role in powering safe, efficient, and sustainable operations for our customers.

What You Will Do

Lead process quality initiatives across design and manufacturing to eliminate defects, reduce waste, and drive efficiency.

Develop, implement, and continuously improve inspection methods and quality control systems.

Ensure all products and processes comply with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Partner with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot issues, share best practices, and drive collaborative solutions.

Proactively identify risks and opportunities for process optimization, delivering measurable improvements in capability and product quality.

Apply sound economic thinking to decisions while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Experience in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or process improvement.

Knowledge of quality management systems, inspection methods, and regulatory compliance requirements.

What Will Put You Ahead

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.

Knowledge of ISO 9001, ASME, API, or other relevant quality standards.
