We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Resident Engineer to oversee transportation infrastructure projects across Utah. This role will serve as the primary liaison between contractors, consultants, and the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), ensuring that construction activities meet design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Oversee transportation infrastructure projects across Utah, ensuring alignment with design specifications and regulatory requirements. Act as the primary liaison between contractors, consultants, and UDOT to coordinate activities and resolve issues. Monitor construction activities for quality and compliance with standards. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Utah (or be able to obtain within 6 months). Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering and project management. Strong technical knowledge of roadway construction, materials testing, and UDOT standards. Preferred qualifications
UDOT CEMT Certification Experience mentoring junior engineers and managing multidisciplinary teams. Seniority level
