As a Construction Coordinator III, you will be responsible for managing multiple, complex, large fiber small business (SMB) and enterprise construction projects. You will also coordinate advanced projects that repair, maintain, or build Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC) and Fiber to the Home (FTTH) architectures. Your work will be the growth engine of our company and extend our network to new customers every day.

Every day is different as a Construction Coordinator III. While communicating with team members, city officials, engineers, and designers, you will be responsible for managing a large volume of complex construction projects. You will also mentor new Construction Coordinators on how to walk out, design, engineer, fund, permit and construct projects in an informal and advisory manner.
What You’ll Bring to Spectrum Required Qualifications
Experience:
Construction Coordinator II or equivalent work experience of at least one year
Education:
High school diploma
Industry and vendor specific certifications and training (NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E)
Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
Completed courses on NCTI Fiber Installation & Activation, NCTI Fiber Testing and Maintenance or certification as a SCTE Broadband Transportation Specialist
Knowledge of company products and services
Knowledge of basic mathematics and electronics
Knowledge of National Electric Code and National Electrical Safety Code
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Technical Skills: Able to use hand tools
Abilities :
Able to read, write and speak the English
Able to use the following hand tools: electric drills, hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers
Ability to walk over all types of terrain in all kinds of weather while carrying tools and equipment, including gaffs, ladders, and fully loaded tool belts
Able to accurately measure distances using tapes or other measuring devices
Able to carry, climb and operate extension ladder (approx 32 ft. high and 90 pounds)
Able to climb poles using gaffs, hooks and climbing belt as needed
Able to read general system layouts for blueprints
Able to operate appropriate test equipment (signal level meters, ohm meters, etc.)
Able to perform job from high places (i.e. poles and roofs)
Able to work while standing 50-70% of the time
Able to work with small components and wires to make cable connections
Able to use handheld communication devices and applications
Able to dig in all types of soil
Able to drive Company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
Able to operate machinery for underground and overhead cable installation
Able to work in inclement weather conditions
Able to prioritize and organize effectively
Able to use personal computer, mobile, and software applications
Able to make cable connections in tight spaces by bending/reaching/twisting, and safely use weight‑bearing equipment
Skills:
Able to work independently, highly organized, strong communication
Schedule:
Able to work all hours and shifts as business needs dictate

The base pay for this position generally is between $21.60 and $38.90. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
