Construction Coordinator
might be the role for you.
As a Construction Coordinator, you’ll manage construction projects maintaining or building our Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC) in residential areas. By ensuring that the quality of work meets established technical standards and company policies, you will play an essential role in keeping our customers connected to our growing network.

With work done in the field or in the office, every day is different. Whether you are coordinating resources or calculating the cost of materials, your role will help connect our customers to our vital communication services.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM Required Qualifications
Experience:
Maintenance Technician, Field Technician, or similar work experience of at least one year
Education:
High school diploma, valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
Technical Skills:
Able to use hand tools, read general system layouts for blueprints, operate appropriate test equipment (signal level meters, ohm meters, etc.)
Abilities:
Read, write and speak English
Use electric drills, hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers
Walk over all types of terrain in all kinds of weather while carrying tools and equipment
Safely use weight‑bearing equipment (gaffs, safety harness, ladders) within maximum weight limits
Accurately measure distances using tapes or other measuring devices
Carry, climb, and operate extension ladders (approx. 32 ft. high and 90 pounds)
Climb poles using gaffs, hooks and climbing belt as needed
Differentiate between different sizes and colors of wires
Make cable connections in tight spaces by bending, reaching, twisting
Read general system layouts from blueprints
Operate appropriate computer or test equipment (e.g. signal level meters, ohm meters, etc.)
Work while standing 50‑70% of the time
Work with small components and wires to make cable connections
Use handheld communication devices and applications
Dig in all types of soil
Drive company vehicle safely and responsibly
Operate machinery used for underground/overhead cable installation
Prioritize and organize effectively
Work independently
Use personal computer, mobile device and software applications
Perform job from high places (poles and roofs)
Skills:
Knowledge of National Electric Code and National Electrical Safety Code, company products and services, and basic electronics
Schedule:
Must be able to work all hours and shifts as business needs dictate
Preferred Qualifications
Construction work experience of at least one year
Field Tech 5 NCTI coursework completed
