Key Responsibilities

Review construction plans and specifications to prepare accurate estimates for drywall, framing, demolition, finishing, and ACT systems.

Perform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed, competitive bid proposals.

Conduct site visits as needed to support accurate estimating and scope verification.

Analyze project requirements, labor, materials, and production rates to ensure accurate pricing.

Utilize estimating software, takeoff tools, and Microsoft Office to prepare and track bids.

Maintain organized records of estimates, bid submissions, and supporting documentation.

Collaborate with internal teams to clarify scope, assumptions, and pricing strategies.

Support continuous improvement by refining estimating processes and accuracy.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in commercial drywall estimating.

Strong understanding of drywall, framing, finishing systems, and ACT assemblies.

Proficiency in estimating software, takeoff tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Detail‑oriented, dependable, and self‑motivated.

Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.

High School Diploma or GED required.
