Senior Accountant
to support our Finance team in managing financial operations, enhancing reporting accuracy, and partnering across departments to support sound business decisions. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and analysis, while supporting commercial and operational finance functions. This position will partner closely with the VP of Finance, cross-functional teams, and the
global accounting team
to maintain a strong control environment, enhance financial visibility, and support scalable growth. This position is located in Lincoln, NE and is a hands-on role with broad responsibilities including accounting operations, month-end close, reporting, and process improvement. Responsibilities
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial statements Prepare, review, and maintain account reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, deferred revenue, accrued liabilities, and prepaid expenses Investigate and resolve discrepancies or reconciling items in a timely and accurate manner Utilize NetSuite to manage reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting workflows efficiently Collaborate with the global accounting team to ensure consistency and accuracy across international reconciliations and reporting Assist in developing and maintaining financial reporting packages Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements with various tax authorities Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and financial operations Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed Qualifications
5–7 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, or finance operations Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls Software / SaaS industry experience preferred Experience with financial systems and tools preferred (Netsuite, Salesforce, Excel) Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
