Job Summary Night Auditor is responsible for balancing revenue and expense transactions, handling front desk duties during the overnight shift, ensuring a smooth operation of the hotel at night, and providing exceptional customer service to guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform nightly audit of hotel transactions, ensuring accurate financial balance.

Check guests in and out, assign rooms, and handle requests efficiently.

Handle all guest inquiries, providing information about the hotel, its services, and local area.

Prepare and distribute daily reports to the management team.

Monitor hotel security during the night and respond to emergencies or disturbances.

Process all financial transactions—including cash, credit cards, and guest account posting.

Communicate with the next shift and management team, noting issues or important information.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.

Provide wake‑up calls and other guest services as needed.

Perform basic troubleshooting of hotel equipment and systems, escalating issues to the appropriate department. \3>Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.

Experience in accounting or bookkeeping is a plus.

Skills and Abilities

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.

Proficient in the use of computers and hotel management software.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
