Position Summary
The
Night Auditor
is responsible for attending to guest needs, balancing daily revenue and expense transactions, and performing front desk duties during the night shift. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, resolving guest issues, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records to maintain smooth hotel operations. Who Is This Position For?

Duties and Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service, making guests' overnight stays comfortable and meeting team and brand goals. Perform quality assurance (QA) requirements for the front desk department. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and relevant ordinances regarding security, cash handling, and guest relations. Act as the night manager on duty, handling guest requests, questions, and issues throughout the hotel. Verify the accuracy of all allowances, corrections, and miscellaneous vouchers during the night shift. Balance all credit card transactions, prepare deposits, and verify in‑house and closed accounts. Conduct the property management night audit system, closing the current business day and opening the new day. Manage guest complaints, documenting requests and issues, and ensuring timely resolution and guest satisfaction. Organize and complete end‑of‑shift paperwork, phone reports, restaurant paperwork, wake‑up call reports, and audit packs. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hotel lobby, coffee stations, and front desk area. Perform other duties as assigned by management to support overnight operations. Position Requirements
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally. Must be able to stand for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage financial transactions accurately. Willingness to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
