Financial Counselor – Bilingual Required
Holy Cross Health is seeking a Financial Counselor to serve as a patient advocate on billing issues, helping patients find financing options and managing financial assistance programs.

Responsibilities
Provide HCH financial assistance application guidance, review submissions, and request additional documents.
Resolve patient billing concerns via telephone, correspondence, or in person.
Investigate and resolve problems and complaints efficiently.
Process credit card payments and record transactions following accounting procedures.
Interpret clinical data to determine eligibility for financial programs.
Reconcile accounts using auditing and analytical skills.
Interpret, read, and work from computer reports and spreadsheets.
Qualifications
High school graduate with at least 3 years of experience in accounting and medical claims management, preferably in a hospital or physician’s office.
Bilingual English and Spanish.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Thorough understanding of Medicaid, Medicare and related assistance programs.
Proficiency with Windows, Word & Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Pay $18.78–$26.29 per hour, based on experience and skills. Salary may vary by location.
