Clinical Nurse (RN) – NICU (PRN) Trinity Health is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse for our Level II NICU to provide compassionate and sophisticated care.

Position Summary Location: Germantown, MD. Employment type: Part‑time (PRN). Shift: Day or Night shift, rotating. Salary: $38.92 – $55.68 per hour.

Responsibilities

Work closely with neonatologist, pediatricians, respiratory therapist, social workers, and other professionals to provide comprehensive care for infants admitted to the NICU.

Attend high‑risk deliveries, including multiple gestation, meconium sac, and congenital defects.

Administer medications, insert IV lines, use ventilators/CPAP, and perform tests ordered by the physician.

Provide education to families on home care in preparation for discharge.

Chart via electronic medical records using EPIC.

Required Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree required, with a requirement to obtain a BSN/MSN within a specified timeframe.

Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).

Current NRP certification.

At least 3 years of nursing experience in Level III or IV NICU.

Preferred Qualifications

BSN or MSN preferred.

STABLE certification or obtain within the first year of hire.

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $38.92 – $55.68 hourly, based on experience, skills, and education. Positions are exempt under FLSA and paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary within the stated range based on location.
