Member Team Lead
– Sam's Club (Fargo, ND)
Base pay range: $21.00/hr – $29.00/hr
Responsibilities
Assists management with supervision of associates: assigning duties, communicating goals, training on processes, providing guidance, resolving member complaints, ensuring compliance, supporting the Open Door Policy, recruiting, hiring, scheduling, coaching, evaluating associates.
Communicates and supports membership: provides information on membership types, processes memberships, encourages renewals, participates in sales events, maintains marketing recaps, meets membership goals, promotes value of Sam's Club products.
Provides member service: acknowledges members, helps with purchasing decisions, locates merchandise, guides member use of self‑service technology, processes transactions at registers or self‑checkout, ensures club pick‑up orders are filled.
Oversees area of responsibility: handles claims and returns, zones and arranges merchandise, identifies shrink/damages, maintains cart availability, assists member transportation, maintains parking lot cleanliness.
Completes accounting records: prepares deposits, oversees Cash Fund Transfers, investigates cash register discrepancies, maintains confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.
Develops processes: collaborates with managers, analyzes information, monitors progress, identifies improvement opportunities.
Demonstrates compliance: explains, guides, demonstrates policies, implements action plans, uses Open Door Policy, assists management with ethical/compliance issues.
Leads and participates in teams: shares resources, determines needs and priorities, coordinates assignments, provides feedback, models adaptability.

Minimum Qualifications
6 months of retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register) and 6 months of customer service experience.
