Director of Talent Selection @ Northwestern Mutual Overview : The Recruiter at the Harrisonburg district office is responsible for executing recruiting plans to meet office contract goals. This involves developing and maintaining effective relationships with candidates and community sources.
Primary Responsibilities
Sourcing & Selection
Review resumes and schedule initial interviews.
Maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Own the recruitment process, including screening candidates, conducting first interviews, and guiding them through subsequent hiring process.
Build and develop referral sources within the office and community.
Participate in community clubs and organizations to promote the company brand.
Coordinate advertising and marketing strategies, including social media and local events.
Accountability, Tracking, and Analysis
Report weekly recruiting activity to the leadership team.
Use software to maintain candidate databases and accurate records.
Assist in coordinating leadership team meetings and preparing activity/results reports.
Analyze recruiting ratios to identify and implement process improvements.
May oversee contract and licensing responsibilities.
Interpersonal savvy and strong communication skills.
Ability to set priorities and drive for results.
High degree of organization and attention to detail.
