Manage the financial oversight of grant-funded programs, including budget tracking, expense monitoring, and financial reporting. Maintain detailed records for grants and restricted funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with funding requirements. Prepare grant-related financial reports and support internal stakeholders with budget updates and analysis. Support grant audits by compiling schedules, documentation, and reconciliations. Process payroll accurately and on time, maintaining employee records and resolving discrepancies. Allocate payroll and related expenses across grants and cost centers based on approved methodologies. Reconcile payroll allocations to the general ledger and investigate variances. Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, budgeting, and forecasting for grant-funded programs. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA certification preferred. 2–4+ years of experience in grant accounting or fund accounting. Working knowledge of grant compliance requirements (Uniform Guidance, payroll regulations, etc.). Experience with accounting and payroll systems; exposure to grant management platforms preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and reconciliation skills. Seniority level
