Our Newest Opportunity
The Lead Accountant’s responsibilities include maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with close processes, audits, and special projects. They will also assist the Director of Accounting as needed and respond to information requests by management and for auditing purposes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes including accruals.
Maintaining and compiling information for various internal and external audits.
Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Researching and resolving process issues and variance identified in reconciliations; working with multiple departments to institute a process to avoid future issues.
Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.
Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls and improve efficiency.
Ensuring compliance with GAAP.
Special projects and ad‑hoc requests as needed.
Assisting the Director of Accounting as needed.
Other duties as appropriate to the objectives of the role and goals of the company.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Able to work independently and in a team environment.
Able to prioritize tasks from various departments.
Excellent judgement and problem‑solving skills.
Takes initiative to perform research and propose solutions.
Must be self‑motivated, disciplined, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Education, Training and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or Business with emphasis in Accounting, required.
Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or CPA, preferred.
Minimum five years’ experience in Accounting, required.
Must be highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Office.
Financial reporting experience, required.
Basic understanding of GAAP, required.
Experience with Dynamics GP, preferred.
Experience with FloQast, preferred.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
