Summary/Purpose Assist the Group Leader in the efficient operation of any area he is tasked to supervise.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities
Day to day supervision of assigned work area employees to ensure safe and efficient operations
Assist with scheduling overtime as required to support production.
Coach associates as appropriate
Conduct performance reviews
Train new associates.
Unload direct material and receive it per JAMPS instruction.
Shot blast as required and put away using FIFO techniques.
Unload and load the tugger trains using FIFO techniques.
Stack and strap empty baskets and stage for the next return shipment to the supplier.
Monitor the tugger drivers to ensure proper logistics techniques are being followed.
Monitor the log sheets being completed by the tugger drivers for any abnormalities.
Make sure the tuggers and forklifts are inspected and charged daily.
Maintain 5‑S standards in the warehouse, train station, and component store areas.
Any other duties as assigned by the Group Leader.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Good computer skills preferably in Jamps, Oracle and Microsoft applications
Good Leadership skills

Education and Experience
Post high school degree preferred.
One to three years related experience in warehousing/logistics and/or training preferably in leadership capacity.
