A vacancy has become available in The Safety, Security and Resilience Team for a Safety Administrator. We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and flexible candidate to support the team to provide administrative support for the organisations CCTV and lone working systems.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Administrator who has an interest in supporting the wider safety functions of the organisation and who has the passion to provide strong administration support.
Main duties of the job
To provide high quality administration to support the CCTV and lone working processes of the Trust. Maintain confidentiality in relation to data processing and access to clinical information as appropriate. Apply all training, knowledge and understanding in relation to information governance. Support other areas of administration as directed by the Safety and Security Manager, Associate Director of Safety, Security and Resilience or as required by other senior members of the team. Assist the Safety Support Officers with the implementation, use and monitoring of the Trusts Lone Working Devices. Ability to provide operations and monitoring of the CCTV and Lone Working system installed across the organisation. To use the Lone Working Database as trained and instructed to accurately update and provide information to support the localities meeting timescales and deadlines provided. Work in partnership with the Lone Working contractor to ensure devices are working correctly and being actively used. To support lone workers and managers with access to up to date information and compliance with lone working guidance. To support with training and implementation of lone working system. To use the CCTV equipment as trained and instructed to help save and provide evidence to the police where required, via various media methods. To use the CCTV equipment as trained and instructed to help save and provide footage to clinical staff along with other incident information. To use the CCTV equipment as trained and instructed to helpthe uploading of incidents to SharePoint (or other) allowing for other departments i.e Legal Services, Information Rights, Safer Care to allow review of CCTV from external agencies. To use the CCTV equipment as trained and instructed to provide Redaction of CCTV imagery to allow sharing of footage in a confidential manner. To monitor the CCTV Request inbox and respond accordingly in a timely manner and escalate via the necessary routes if required. To demonstrate competence in the use of CCTV viewing software to access the Trust CCTV. When required support with other administration tasks within the team appropriate to grade. When required support with incident administration. Any other duties as delegated within the team. Person Specification
Experience
Experience of Office & Microsoft Excel & Word. Office administration Working in a mental health care setting Use of Local Risk Management Software Systems Knowledge
Knowledge of quality checking of data Skills
Communication skills (written and oral) Word processing and IT Skills Organisational skills Able to use own initiative Minute taking Qualifications
Good level of general education (Mathematics and English to GCSE Grade C) OR Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Business and Administration or equivalen Disclosure and Barring Service Check
