Overview

VP, Authentication Senior Manager (Business Administration) role at Corebridge Financial. The VP, Authentication Senior Manager will provide leadership and oversee the company’s workforce authentication service function. This role reports to the Global Head of Authentication (Identity and Access Management) and requires extensive IAM strategy, architecture, and software development/engineering experience with subject matter expertise in authentication services for both internal workforce and customers. The role involves working across organizational boundaries, managing engineering and operations teams, overseeing vendors, driving POCs and negotiations, and interfacing with audit and regulatory teams. Responsibilities

Plan and execute the delivery of Authentication services (internal workforce and customer IAM). Lead and oversee the design and development of authentication solutions that enforce applicable security policies and access management requirements. Lead and oversee the build, configuration, and architecture of one or more authentication platforms (e.g., Okta, Ping, Azure) including SSO, registration, identity proofing, multifactor authentication, and password resets. Understand authentication services and integration with broader security solutions (Identity & Access Governance, Privileged Access, cybersecurity services). Define, enhance, and oversee enterprise-wide authentication processes, controls, and risk approvals. Oversee development of technical authentication solutions with input from service owners, architects, project managers, global infrastructure teams, regional IT teams and IAM vendors. Specify business requirements to integrate authentication systems with in-house and third-party applications for provisioning, access requests, and certifications. Represent the IAM organization on large-scale technology projects, regulatory reviews, and audits. Articulate business risks and technical challenges to stakeholders; balance stakeholder needs; collaborate within and outside the Information Security Office (ISO) to meet objectives. Communicate effectively to diverse audiences; drive innovation; maintain a customer-focused approach; and manage engagement and results, including working in a global context and across complex organizational dynamics. Interpret and apply skills to build authentication solutions supporting globally dispersed businesses, personnel, and customers. Skills and Qualifications

10+ years in cybersecurity and IAM, including engineering, strategy, and process/controls. 10+ years supporting IAM processes: Identity Governance, Privileged Access, Access Administration & Authentication (including MFA), Directory Services, and enterprise reporting for employees, non-employees, and customers. 8+ years in production support or related IAM experience; defining requirements and implementing control-based processes. 8+ years in technical expertise across systems, infrastructure, tools, modelling, and external interfaces; experience delivering enterprise IAM solutions. 8+ years’ experience with authentication products (Azure AD, Active Directory, RBAC, MFA, SSO) and related standards (SAML, OAuth, NTLM, LDAP, Kerberos, PKI). 8+ years’ experience with PAM processes and 3rd-party service providers; experience with separations/divestitures. Strong interpersonal skills across management levels and multiple lines of business. 8+ years working with regulatory requirements (SOX, SOC1, NYDFS, PCI, MAS, etc.) and frameworks (NIST, ITIL, SDLC). 8+ years’ experience overseeing IAM services with 3rd parties; architecture interpretation across geographies. 5+ years managing 20+ resources in a matrixed environment; 5+ years integrating applications with IAM solutions. 5+ years hands-on with platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, Ping, Quest, Active Directory, AWS, Azure, ServiceNow, and related products. Experience with XML, SPML/SOAP, web/app servers; knowledge of cryptography (RSA-ACE, ECC, AES, etc.). 5+ years working with IaaS, SaaS, PaaS providers (Azure, AWS, Google GCE, Salesforce). BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience; experience with databases (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL); scripting and OS command line familiarity. Experience with SIEM (e.g., Splunk) and DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes) is a plus; experience supporting 24x7 security operations (L1/L2/L3). Compensation

The anticipated salary range is $140,000 to $180,000 at commencement, with discretionary bonus eligibility. Actual offers depend on location, skills, experience, and other qualifications. Corebridge also offers a range of benefits as part of total compensation. Work Location
