Responsibilities As Process Lead, you will support production leadership across assembly, machinery, processing, and packaging operations. You will lead by example, provide day‑to‑day direction, motivation, and mentorship to Skilled Machine Technicians (SMTs) while working under the guidance of a supervisor. You will drive operational efficiency through training, team engagement, and continuous improvement, and coordinate production schedules to meet material availability, staffing, and output targets.

Essential Duties

Team Coordination & Leadership:

Coordinate an assigned team; lead by example; encourage HPC traits; maintain flexibility with work shifts; no authority to hire or discipline.

Communication & Collaboration:

Interact daily with team, communicate status; collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues.

Reporting & Data Analysis:

Generate daily end‑of‑shift reports, provide feedback, maintain inspection records, report deviations promptly.

Training & SOP Compliance:

Understand and teach SOPs/SWIs; train SMTs and other staff.

Operations & Maintenance Support:

Operate machinery; support maintenance; manage raw materials; ensure quality and 6S compliance.

General Role Requirements:

Work all scheduled shifts; meet physical demands and PPE requirements.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

Wear PPE such as Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, glasses, masks, and hazmat suit with respirator.

Qualifications Education

High school diploma, GED, or 2 years experience in functional area.

Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Must‑haves

4+ years in fast‑paced, high‑volume manufacturing.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and department‑specific system programs.

Understanding of 6S and Lean processes.

Working‑level English language proficiency.

Alignment with Panasonic’s seven core principles.

Nice‑to‑haves

8+ years in Shift Lead, Team Lead or related positions.

Ability to use high‑quality equipment relevant to the area.

Experience with MES, SCADA, SAP, and data visualization tools.

Preferred Licenses & Certifications

No specific license required.

Certificate for forklift, electric pallet jack, and manual pallet jack.

Lead Six Sigma Green Belt.

Physical Demands

Walk 30%, sit 30%, stand 20%, lift 20% of the normal workday.

Required lifting: 10 lbs – frequent; 20 lbs – frequent; 35 lbs – occasional; Team‑lift over 35 lbs – occasional.
