Description of Work

Bridge2Success VR Case Managers will work with students to develop an individualized plan for employment (IPE) to outline all services and supports to help them reach their goal. These services are varied and will differ by student need, financial eligibility, and career interest. They will also be involved in extensive outreach to inform and engage the students with IDD, their family and supports in the program services and supports.

This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). Note: Permanent and time-limited NC State Government employees must separate from their permanent or time-limited position in order to work in a temporary position. Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a discipline relative to the program served from an appropriately accredited institution; or Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in an area related to program that provides experience in techniques of casework or counseling; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
