Stihl Power Equipment Specialist (Hourly + Commission)
This is an hourly plus labor commission paid repair position. Looking for an individual to do Stihl repairs.
The primary role of the Stihl Power Equipment Specialist is to process all work orders for customer repairs as well as servicing/repairing the equipment. Equipment consists of the full range of Stihl offerings including chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, etc. This position is also responsible for parts ordering as well as filing warranty claims. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability and knowledge required, including having a minimum of 3 years of related experience. The candidate should also possess good customer communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the safe use of equipment and tools
Responsible for completing all service work in a timely manner
Responsible for completing all warranty paperwork in a timely manner
Responsible for all special order parts for customers
Responsible for ordering units and parts under supervision of the inventory manager and store manager
Provide a safe working environment by keeping work areas clean and organized
May be required to cross train and perform other duties
Able to participate in the equipment sales process
Physical and Other Requirements
Ability to communicate well with customers
Able to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively
Able to stand for long periods of time
Able to use a ladder and/or a pallet jack
