Full-time Key Responsibilities
Clinical Excellence: Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations. Patient Care: Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process with empathy, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the exam. Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to interpret results and provide accurate, high-resolution images. Technical Proficiency: Operate and maintain advanced ultrasound equipment and document findings accurately in electronic medical records. Requirements
Certification: Current Ultrasound Technologist Certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(S). Continuing Education: Must remain compliant with all RDMS and ARRT requirements for continuing education. Experience: Prior experience in breast (BR) ultrasound is highly preferred. Skills: Strong understanding of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and a commitment to maintaining patient privacy and HIPAA standards. Why Join Southwoods Health
