Part‑time – Night shift.
Description The Registered Nurse in the Oregon Regional Transfer Center operates in a multi‑functional team that supports the evaluation, consultation, and transfer of patients for any of the eight Providence Oregon hospitals. The Transfer Center Nurse efficiently facilitates complex requests relating to physician consults, telemedicine requests, timely patient transfers between facilities, and accurate and efficient patient placement within each hospital, as well as the coordination of transportation.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and triage patient transfer requests from various departments and facilities.
Coordinate and document physician consults, telemedicine sessions, and patient transfers.
Ensure timely and accurate placement of patients within the appropriate inpatient units.
Coordinate transportation logistics for patient transfers.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
At least 2 years in an acute care setting.
