Job Description Eurofins is seeking a self‑motivated, adaptable, and positive scientist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both independent and collaborative environments and enjoys working in a client‑facing setting.
What You’ll Do
Analyze manufacturing data from chromatography and purification processes.
Investigate out‑of‑trend results to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Create presentations to communicate findings and influence decision‑making.
Troubleshoot equipment and processes while maintaining clean, compliant workspaces.
Complete laboratory documentation and review logbook data to ensure accuracy.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain inspection readiness.
Conduct small‑scale lab experiments using chromatographic systems, followed by statistical analysis to understand process impacts.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to clearly communicate technical findings to diverse stakeholders.
Commitment to compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Flexibility to balance independent work with team collaboration.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences is required.
Chemistry background is preferred.
cGMP experience and experience with technical writing is desirable.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Good general computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and multitask while maintaining accuracy.
Priority for statistical analysis work, reporting, and documentation.
Candidates within commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY are encouraged to apply.
Additional Information The work schedule will be Monday‑Friday, 8 AM‑4:30 PM with overtime as needed.
