Review and interpret veterinarian orders and prescriptions for appropriateness and safety Manage prescription workflow processes, correcting errors and documenting patient profiles Verify prescriptions for pets in accordance with policies and regulations, and counsel pet owners on medications Oversee the work performed by support personnel, including data entry related to pet medications Maintain focus on tasks while efficiently completing job functions Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor\'s degree in pharmacy and a current Pharmacist license in good standing Veterinary compounding experience preferred Experience with PCAB accreditation preferred Multiple state licenses preferred Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations and compounded preparations Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with veterinary compounding practices Experience in a fast-paced pharmacy environment Leadership skills to coach and mentor pharmacy team members Proficiency in using multiple data entry systems Ability to multitask effectively between job functions Additional Information
