Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Days (12-hour shifts)
Join to apply for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Days (12-hour shifts) role at Roxbury Treatment Center. This full‑time position offers a convenient dayshift (6:30 am–7:00 pm) schedule, rotating every other weekend and holiday. Full benefits, potential overtime, and a $5,000 sign‑on bonus are available. The role is based in Shippensburg, PA, at the 112‑bed behavioral health facility serving adults and adolescents with behavioral health and substance use services.
Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with Roxbury Treatment Center’s philosophy and objectives.
Be accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and promote and enhance professional nursing practice under the direction of the Nurse Manager or DON.
Monitor and document patient condition and interventions, reporting findings to the unit Charge Nurse/RN.
Monitor nursing and clinical care plans and participate in Treatment Team meetings as necessary.
Provide supportive counseling and patient education.
Facilitate medication administration activities in accordance with safe medication practices, including patient education.
Respond to all crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety.

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited licensed practical nursing program.
One year of prior experience in detoxification and/or mental health nursing preferred.
Licensed practical nurse registered with the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners.
