Description
We are looking for caregivers who are interested in working a Day shift with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. All day shifts start at 7am. We provide 75 hours of paid training by experienced staff.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting individuals with their personal care- bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting/personal hygiene
Daily tasks include light housekeeping, laundry, and keeping the home comfortable and safe
Plan meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving meals/snacks
Accompany individuals to scheduled medical appointments
Accompany individuals on fun community activities (movies, swimming, bowling, trips to the beach, shopping at the mall, etc.)
Assist individuals with self-administration of medications
Document services provided using computer
Benefits
$20.50/hour
Know your schedule for the month-easy to plan work/life balance
PT Day shift 18-24 hours/week
FT Day shift 24-32 hrs/week
Work a 2 day on/2day off/every other weekend shift
75 Hours of Paid Caregiver training
Medical/Dental/Vision/HSA/life insurance benefits after 60 days (must work avg of 30 hours/week)
401K with matching after 1 year if benefit eligible

Requirements
Be at least 18 Years or older
Be able to pass a Washington State Criminal Background Check and complete fingerprints before hire date
Be able to provide high school diploma or high school transcript or GED
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs, twist, turn, sit, stand for periods of time, see and hear our individuals
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have basic computer skills
Have good problem solving skills working as a team
