You will be the Supplier Quality Field Representative Staff for the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of products from suppliers across the United States, implementing quality-control processes, and driving supplier performance excellence.

Responsibilities

Build strong, data-driven partnerships with our supplier base and safeguard supply chain integrity.

Conduct on-site supplier audits and assessments to verify compliance with Lockheed Martin standards.

Analyze supplier-generated quality data and recommend corrective-action plans.

Collaborate with internal engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to resolve non-conformances.

Develop and maintain supplier-quality documentation, work instructions, and performance metrics.

Basic Qualifications

Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain Secret security clearance.

Comprehensive knowledge of quality processes and procedures, including AS9100 and ISO 9001.

Strong understanding of engineering drawing requirements, GD&T, and mechanical & electrical inspection methods.

Ability to identify and document supplier quality deficiencies and ensure effective corrective actions.

Focus on continual improvement practices and increased affordability.

Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment with suppliers.

Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and support all program supplier quality engineering activities.

Desired Skills

Technical degree from an accredited college.

Understanding of the MFC SAP and P2P business systems.

ASQ Certification(s): CQE, CQA, or CQIA.

Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt).

Experience with source inspection, special process surveys, purchase order reviews, and surveillance activities at suppliers.

Ordnance experience.

Demonstrated leadership and customer relationship management skills.

Other Important Information Remote work: Full-time telework from a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office. Periodic travel to Lockheed Martin office for meetings. Work schedule: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.

Security Clearance Information: Position requires a government security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
