General Manager – Hardee’s Restaurant – Belleville, IL Join Hardees of Evans as the General Manager. This role is crucial to ensure team members focus on hospitality, people, and performance. The GM reports to the District Manager and supervises Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members.

Responsibilities

Recruit, hire, and maintain a bench for future growth.

Execute all marketing plans, including correct POP and menu board installation.

Ensure proper staffing and train team members through effective programs.

Keep the restaurant open and fully operational during Business Hours.

Create excitement, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and commitment to company objectives.

Maintain inventory and equipment at correct levels and in excellent condition.

Serve as a role model by demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of all phases of restaurant operations and technology.

Supervise in accordance with performance and operating policies set in the operations manual.

Coach, develop, and motivate staff to perform at the highest level.

Review preliminary profit/loss statements with District Manager.

Adhere to all HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies to provide a safe environment.

Qualifications

3–5 years of management experience in a quick‑service/fast‑food dining concept.

Financial/analytical aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.

Competencies

Valid driver’s license.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Flexible hours and shifts to complete essential duties.

Proficiency with all equipment necessary to run the restaurant.

Ability to make decisions under pressure and delegate tasks appropriately.

Strong conflict‑resolution skills.

High sense of urgency.

Self‑motivated.

Excellent organizational, planning, and time‑management skills.

Physical Requirements

Stand for long periods.

Work around high temperatures.

Work in close quarters with others.

Lift 50 pounds comfortably.

Use cleaning products.

Maintain a continuous high pace under pressure while upholding quality and speed standards.

Pay Range $46,000 – $55,000 per year.
