Position Summary We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Supply Chain Coordinator - Supply Chain - Mineola. The successful Clinical Supply Chain Coordinator (CSC COORDINATOR LI) assists CSC management with control and ongoing evaluation of inventory for perioperative services and performs tasks that ensure surgical staff receive all necessary items on a timely basis. Responsibilities include maintaining and updating the CSC Perioperative Pyxis supply system, processing requisitions, decanting and distributing supplies, reviewing and removing expired and obsolete items, monitoring supply levels, managing out‑of‑stock issues, and communicating with clinical teams.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain and update the CSC Perioperative Pyxis supply system, including removal of expired and obsolete items, new item setup, and adjustment of reorder points.
Process and track requisitions; decant and distribute all incoming supply/implant deliveries to appropriate areas.
Monitor orders, verify receipt, and coordinate with purchasing and warehouse staff regarding non‑receipt items.
Limit and manage out‑of‑stock issues, providing timely communication and resolution strategies.
Perform monthly expiration audits and replenish supplies as needed.
Provide first‑line supervision and training to CSC Inventory Associate team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Demonstrate effective communication, decision‑making, time management, and customer‑service skills.
Perform other duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 0‑1 year of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in inventory control with a minimum of 0‑1 year in supply distribution.
Extensive customer‑service skills and proficient in Microsoft Office.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of Operating Room / Supply Chain / Sterile Processing experience.
1‑2 years of EPIC / patient scheduling experience.
Experience in computerized inventory control for medical/surgical supplies.
Knowledge of Clinical Supply/Materials Management operations.
Certification in Materials Resources (CMRP).
