CNC Machinist 1st or 2nd Shift

Role Overview:
Experienced (3+ years) CNC machine set‑up and programming on 3 and 5 axis mills and lathes, maintaining part quality and production run quantities.
Responsibilities
Efficiently program and set up MasterCAM X7 (certification a plus, not required) for 3- and 5-axis operations.
Operate and program Haas vertical milling machines, lathes, and UMC Series universal machining centers.
Program and use Renishaw probe system on Haas milling machines for true 5‑axis cutting.
Work from prints, 3D CAD models and setup sheets performing multiple operations to manufacture quality parts.
Inspect finished parts to ±.001 tolerance, using micrometers, calipers and edge finders.
Troubleshoot and manually adjust machining to keep parts within specific tolerances.
Maintain a clean, organized workstation and perform more than one task in the shop.
Display strong problem‑solving skills and a team‑player attitude.
Qualifications
Minimum 6 years’ experience in CNC machine set‑up, programming, and production.
Proficiency in MasterCAM X7 or higher and SolidWorks 2020 or higher.
Knowledge of Haas vertical milling machines, lathes, UMC series and Renishaw probe system.
Excellent inspection skills, accurate tolerances, and effective troubleshooting.
Self‑sufficient, motivated, and capable of multitasking in a shop environment.
Team player with strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
