About the job The Packaging Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by leading the full sales process for packaging solutions, from prospecting and quoting to post-sale support.
We're looking for someone who:
Has 5-10 years of experience selling industrial packaging solutions directly to end-users
Brings a strong understanding of packaging engineering and custom packaging design
Can self-generate leads and identify opportunities within existing accounts
Has experience in post-sales service and multi-material packaging integration
Is energetic, coachable, and competitive, with a proactive mindset
Has experience with MS Office, CRMs, and quoting tools
Is comfortable traveling frequently, including occasional overnight trips
Has completed formal or informal sales training and uses consultative selling techniques
What you'll do:
Drive direct-to-client sales and manage the full sales cycle
Collaborate with internal engineering teams to develop custom packaging solutions
Build and grow relationships with clients and generate new business
Lead quoting and negotiation, ensuring profitability and value-based selling
Partner with internal stakeholders to support onboarding and post-sale needs
Stay knowledgeable on plant capabilities and third-party resources
Help shift the sales conversation from price to value and maintain strong margins
