Overview The General Manager is accountable for the management and operations of the restaurant, ensuring that Team Members are hospitality‑focused, people‑focused and meet expectations in all job responsibilities. The GM reports to the District Manager, supervising Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members. The General Manager operates the restaurant in line with the business plan and demonstrates Capstone values: People, Hospitality, Integrity.
Responsibilities
Recruit and hire staff, maintaining a bench for future growth.
Execute all marketing plans, including proper installation of POP and menu board elements.
Ensure appropriate staffing and training through effective training programs.
Maintain operational readiness during business hours as defined by the District Manager, Regional Director of Operations, and Operating Partner.
Provide leadership by fostering excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude, and commitment to company objectives.
Maintain correct inventory levels and equipment condition via approved vendors.
Model excellent operational and technological proficiency.
Supervise per established performance and operating policies per the operations standards manual.
Develop and motivate Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members to reach peak performance.
Review preliminary P/Ls and forward all questions to the District Manager.
Ensure compliance with HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies to maintain a safe environment.
Qualifications
3‑5 years management experience in quick‑service/fast‑food dining concept.
Financial/analytical aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.
Competencies
Valid driver’s license.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Flexible schedule to cover essential duties.
Proficiency in operating all required equipment.
Decisive under pressure with delegating ability.
Strong conflict resolution skills.
High sense of urgency.
Self‑motivated.
Excellent organizational, planning, and time‑management skills.
Physical Requirements
Stand for extended periods.
Work near high temperatures.
Work in close quarters.
Lift up to 50 pounds comfortably.
Work with various cleaning products.
Maintain high pace under pressure while meeting quality and speed standards.
Pay Range $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
