OP - CAD Design Engineer with Battery Pack
Base pay range
$30.00/hr - $35.00/hr
Responsibilities
Define battery pack architecture aligned with product specs and manufacturing constraints.
Conduct design studies, mechanical calculations, and integrate simulation results.
Deliver high-quality outputs (3D models, drawings) on time.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to define component requirements.
Develop design tools, guides, and best practices to improve efficiency and quality.
Requirements
Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA, UG NX) and knowledge of ISO standards (GD&T, stack-up analysis).
Expertise in battery pack design, plastics/metallic parts, thermal management, electronics, and harnesses.
Familiarity with CAD quality tools (QChecker), PLM systems, and design FMEA.
Strong communication, teamwork, organisational skills, and ability to deliver under deadlines.
Fluent in English.
