Senior Accountant

Our space industry client is hiring for their first Senior Accountant! The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation of accounting processes, is excited about leading day-to-day accounting operations for a growing startup, and eager to help form the company's formal finance function. This is a fantastic growth opportunity for candidates who are looking for more responsibility as the business scales!

Responsibilities

Manage the full AP/AR process

Support month-end close and help prepare regular financial summaries

Assist with payroll processing, expense reimbursement, and vendor activity.

Work with external accountants on annual tax filings and audit preparation

Assist with other tasks as needed

Qualifications

2-4 years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience

Strong understanding of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable processes, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements

Experience with common accounting software and systems (e.g. QuickBooks, Ramp)

Motivated to grow with a fast-paced, early-stage startup
