What You’ll Do
Lead and supervise the audit function of the Ohio Casino Control Commission across casino gaming, sports gaming, fantasy contests, and skill games, ensuring compliance with Ohio law.
Supervise audit staff, including planning, scheduling, overseeing projects, monitoring performance, providing training, and conducting evaluations.
Review audit projects to ensure objectives are completed and documented appropriately per standards.
Conduct risk assessments and develop audit procedures to focus the audit plan.
Provide feedback to staff to adjust audit work product.
Collaborate cross-functionally to share expertise and enhance processes.
Exhibit strong time management, communication, teamwork, and analytical skills to lead a team of audit professionals.
Represent the division at meetings, conferences, or other events.
Stay up-to-date on industry processes, regulations, and advancements.
Qualifications 6 years in auditing or accounting, including 3 years in auditing per standards or agency policies and 2 years as audit team lead or auditor in charge.
Or completion of undergraduate core coursework in accounting, business administration, computer science or related field, 4 years in auditing or accounting with 2 years auditing per standards and 2 years as audit team lead or auditor in charge.
Or 12 months experience as External Auditor 3, 66463.
Or equivalent minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
