Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000 (DOE)
Work Model: Hybrid - 1 day per week in the office
Overview My client is a well-established law firm seeking a Finance Manager to own and manage all financial processing within the firm. This is a hands‑on role for someone who has already worked inside a law firm environment and is fully proficient in Tabs3. This is not a general accounting position. The right person understands legal billing, trust accounting, firm reporting, and attorney-driven workflows, and is comfortable operating independently with a high level of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Own day-to-day financial operations for the firm
Full responsibility for Tabs3 (billing, timekeeping, A/R, reporting)
Process client billing, payments, trust accounting, and disbursements
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity
Prepare monthly and year‑end financial reports for firm leadership
Coordinate with outside CPA on tax filings and compliance
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with legal accounting standards
Serve as the internal finance point‑person for attorneys and leadership
Required Experience & Skills
Prior law firm finance or accounting experience (required)
Strong proficiency in Tabs3 (required - daily user)
Solid understanding of legal billing and trust accounting
Experience managing firm-wide financial processes independently
High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
Professional communication style and discretion
