Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to optimize equipment uptime and reliability.
Manage the maintenance budget, including spare parts inventory, external contractor services, and capital expenditures.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
Coordinate and prioritize urgent repairs and breakdowns to minimize production interruptions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency, reduce costs, and extend asset lifespan.
Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, parts, and services.
Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience managing maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment.
Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including PLCs.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with experience developing maintenance technicians.
Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and spare parts inventory management.
Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), or Lean manufacturing principles.
Bonus Qualifications
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
Experience with CMMS implementation, migration, or significant optimization projects
Strong working knowledge of PLC programming and industrial automation systems
