is a Tier 1 supplier of Battery System Assembly (BSA) and Power Electric (PE) systems, which are key parts to produce electric vehicles, based on state‑of‑art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly.
Our Material Management Department is seeking two Material Planners for our Ellabell, GA location. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail‑driven Material Planner with experience managing material flow, maintaining accurate MRO inventory levels, and supporting both inventory control and procurement activities for MNAe‑BSA/ICCU. They excel at sourcing materials, components, supplies, and services at the most favorable cost and terms while ensuring availability to meet production and quality standards. Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to optimize cost and lead times are essential for success in this role.
Job description
Prevent parts and container shortages through daily production monitoring, event‑parts management, and hot‑part analysis
Manage load sheet releases, truck scheduling, expedites, extra shipments, and related cost analysis
Monitor and troubleshoot EDI/SAP orders, system errors, and material master data updates (usage, BOM, revisions)
Optimize inventory through safety stock analysis, FIFO monitoring, cycle counts, and variance/root‑cause investigations
Coordinate incoming parts, stock transfers, OS&D issues, GR/ASN verification, and vendor returns or quality‑related part handling
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in initiating, facilitating and tracking material purchase orders in the Automotive industry field
Strong oral and written communication skills for effective reporting to management, customers, and suppliers
Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential
Proficiency in MS Office is required, with preference for SAP
Previous experience in Logistics planning and Inventory control preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to complete complex tasks independently
Detailed knowledge of Just in Sequence processes and systems in the Automotive industry
SAP (PP/MM/SD module) and MES experience
Solid Accounting/Finance/Mathematical skills
Detailed knowledge of material purchasing
Detailed knowledge of logistics, package design
Detailed knowledge of stock control skills
Knowledge of customs and border control operations and HTS codes
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
Minimum Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, or a related field
Shift: 1st shift
Travel: Minimum travel required
