is a Tier 1 supplier of Battery System Assembly (BSA) and Power Electric (PE) systems, a key component in electric vehicle production. Our Material Management Department at Hyundai Mobis North America seeks two Material Management Specialists to join our team in Ellabell, Georgia.
Job Overview The BSA Material Management Specialist plays a crucial role in building the foundation of MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain. The role involves coordinating material flow, ensuring production lines have necessary resources, and influencing major projects that shape the future of electrified mobility.
Responsibilities
Comprehensive material control including purchasing, inventory management, and logistics.
Ensure materials are available at the right cost and quality for the production line.
Coordinate with other departments and teams, managing resources and keeping stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the material management process.
Contribute to the establishment and continuous improvement of material management systems and operating standards for new projects.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in Just-in-Sequence (JIS) material management within the automotive industry including purchasing, customs clearance, inventory and logistics.
Strong understanding of automotive material purchasing and logistics processes and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong sense of responsibility.
Detailed knowledge of JIS processes and systems in the automotive industry.
Experience with SAP (PP/MM/SD module) and MES.
Solid accounting, finance and mathematical skills.
Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
Experience with Hyundai, Kia, MOBIS, or GLOVIS preferred.
Knowledge of logistics, package design and stock control skills.
Minimum Education/Certifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
