Key Responsibilities Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables for manufacturing initiatives. Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, production, supply chain) for project execution. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and manufacturing specifications. Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams. Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes through project implementation.
Recommended Qualifications PMP or PRINCE2 certification, or equivalent demonstrated project management experience Proven experience managing projects within a manufacturing environment, including understanding of production processes, supply chain, and quality systems Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex) relevant to manufacturing operations Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams (engineering, production, R&D) and external stakeholders in a manufacturing context
Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes. Proficiency with CAD/CAM software or other engineering design tools. Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other relevant industry quality standards.
